Welding & Metal Works
Most metalwork failures happen at a joint, not in the middle of a section. Re-welding a broken joint is quick; the part that determines whether it holds is treating the rust and restoring the coating afterwards.

Cost Factors
Understanding what drives price helps you compare quotes fairly and prepare useful details for assessment.
Several joints on the same visit is more efficient than one call per joint.
Sound metal welds cleanly; heavily corroded metal must be cut back first.
Overhead work, high railings or awkward corners take longer.
Some repairs need the item removed, which changes the scope.
Our Process
We look at why the joint failed — a weld that broke from rust is a different repair to one that broke from movement.
The area is cleaned back to sound metal so the weld has something to bond to.
The joint is re-welded and the weld dressed back.
The repaired area is rust-treated, primed and touched up.
Moving parts are operated through their full travel to confirm the repair holds.
FAQs
Straight answers to the questions customers ask us most about this service.
Two common reasons. Either the original weld was undersized or poorly penetrated and fatigued over time, or rust attacked the joint from behind and there was less metal left than there appeared. We look at which it was, because a fatigue crack often recurs unless the joint is reinforced.
If there is sound metal either side, yes — the corroded part is cut back and new material welded in. If the rust runs along a whole rail or the base of several bars, replacing that section is more honest than welding onto metal that is already thin.
There will usually be some visible difference. We dress the weld back and touch up with primer and topcoat, which blends it reasonably, but an exact match to weathered paint is not realistic. If appearance matters, repainting the whole item afterwards gives the better result.
Most gate, grille and railing repairs are done in place, which is faster and cheaper for you. Removal is only needed when the piece has to be straightened, substantially rebuilt, or coated in a way that cannot be done on site. We will tell you which applies.
Problems We Solve
A failed weld is a joint that has stopped carrying load — everything connected to it is now being held by something that was not designed to take the whole job.
View problemRust on a mild-steel gate is normal in the Malaysian climate — what matters is whether it is surface rust or rust that has eaten through the section.
View problemA railing that moves when you lean on it is a safety problem first and a cosmetic one second — it should be checked rather than lived with.
View problemA gate that drags on the ground or refuses to latch is telling you something has moved — a hinge, a post, a roller or the ground itself.
