Long enough that you should plan for it — the room goes through several stages and the cabinets typically arrive near the end. We give you a programme after the survey so you can arrange temporary cooking rather than being caught out mid-project.
If the layout works, yes — it saves a meaningful amount. Moving a sink means new supply and waste runs, and moving a hob may involve electrical or gas work. Sometimes relocation is worth it for a much better layout, but it should be a deliberate decision, not an afterthought.
Most customers use a cabinet supplier they have chosen, and we coordinate with them — preparing the room, getting the services in the right positions and making sure everything is ready for their installation date. That coordination is a real part of the job.
