General Renovation

Full Bathroom Renovation in Kuala Lumpur & Selangor

In a bathroom, the work you will never see again matters most. Waterproofing goes in before the tiles and cannot be inspected afterwards — which is exactly why it is the stage worth being particular about.

Our Process

How we carry out Full Bathroom Renovation

01

Survey and plan

We survey the bathroom, agree the layout and confirm what services move.

02

Strip out

Everything comes out back to the slab and wall substrate.

03

Plumbing first fix

Supply and waste are set for the agreed layout.

04

Waterproofing and water test

The floor and wet-area walls are waterproofed and tested before anything covers it.

05

Tiling to falls

Floor tiling is laid so water runs to the trap, and walls are tiled and detailed.

06

Fit out

Sanitary ware and fittings are installed, siliconed and tested.

FAQs

Full Bathroom Renovation — Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions customers ask us most about this service.

Why does waterproofing matter more than the tiles?+

Because the tiles are a wearing surface, not a barrier — grout is porous and joints move. The waterproof layer under the tile bed is what actually keeps water out of the slab. It is also the one layer you cannot inspect after the job, which is why it should never be the stage that gets rushed.

Is the water test necessary?+

Yes, and we would insist on it. Ponding the waterproofed floor before tiling is the only way to confirm the membrane works while it is still possible to fix. Skipping it saves a day and risks discovering a failure only after your neighbour reports a stain on their ceiling.

Can I keep my existing sanitary ware?+

Sometimes, if it is in good condition and the layout is unchanged. Be realistic though: once the tiling and fittings around it are new, older sanitary ware often looks its age, and refitting it carefully costs labour too. We will give you an honest view rather than pushing a replacement.

How long does a full bathroom take?+

It runs through several stages with real curing and drying time built in — waterproofing and tile adhesive cannot be rushed. If your home has only one bathroom, plan for that, and we will give you a programme after the survey so the timing is not a surprise.
